About Francesca

Francesca learned to paint with an easel next to her mother, Marchita Crawford. Having grown up in a family atmosphere featuring creative talents, Francesca followed in the family footsteps developing her own style and artistic sensibilities. A long-time arts teacher and counselor at D.C.'s Banneker High School, Francesca also dedicates her time to life-long learning to continue to grow and keep a fresh perspective.

In order to honor and showcase some of the talent to which she was exposed at a young age, Francesca features on this website works by her mother, Marchita.
